Hi, I'm Kura. I've gone by several other names in the past, Kura is a recent addition. You might know me as Kuroi, which was my net handle for many, many years until I slowly started turning over into Kura, or you might know me by my usernames on various accounts (they're all different orz): Yu-chan, Kurosaisei, Kuroikisei, Ayatsuji, Kurafufu, and Jyunmei. Either way, on the net I respond to pretty much everything, so it really doesn't matter. But for the memo, I go by Kura.

I'm a happy-go-lucky type character; easily amused, easily excited, easily placated. I like to think this makes me easily approachable, friendly, and nice-like, but I think it more often has me coming off as annoying. Can't please everyone, or anyone, really. I'm a huge formula 1 fan, and an old school anime, manga, and video game fan. While I do like the latest games and series to an extent, there will always be a (large) part of me that prefers the old series that I once and still love. I jump fandoms like crazy, and don't usually have a lot of time to be very active in any one at any time, so my fanworks are really quite all over the place. I have been trying to stick to a smaller niche though, and I might end up gravitating to my old favorites and exclusively doing work for them. At least I know that they're not and have never been passing interests.

Currently, I'm a student studying at Art Center College of Design majoring in Entertainment Arts. I do a lot of drawing all day, but very little of it for myself. I try to fit in what I can in the form of quick sketches and composition thumbnails, but CGs are few and far inbetween. Perhaps after I complete the foundation terms and have entered into more digital use, I'll be able to squeeze more time in to CG. Time...like the sort I'm squeezing in to put this site up.
